Documentation for use with PowerGUI VSX

description

I'm rather fond of the completion available in the PowerGUI VSX extension and have noticed that there is some documentation regarding running StudioShell in NuGet PM and the standard console. Currently PowerGUI does not appear to have profile support, though I've created a ticket for that, it would be nice to know the most effective way to ensure StudioShell loads correctly within VSX. I had some difficulties running it, though it would seem perhaps my installation is incomplete or broken as it were. Both the MSI and the NuGet package yield slightly different symptoms, though I can at least access the DTE drive provider and such if I use the NuGet package. When running just off the MSI install it seems to give me a file not found error but doesn't explain which one. I'm wondering if this is related to the case about the Addins folder (though mine seems to exist already, only the NuGet package puts anything in there), so I'm not sure another issue is called for.

My first assumption is that I have done something wrong which is why I'm hoping you can help instruct me on the proper procedure for getting StudioShell running in PowerGUI VSX. I mentioned in my ticket on their side that it would be really cool to see the functionality of these projects merge.

What version of StudioShell are you working with? 1.2 "stable" or 1.3.1 "beta"?
