SYNOPSIS

Displays the contents of the pipeline in an HTML window.

SYNTAX

Out-HTML [-Input <PSObject>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

Displays the contents of the pipeline in an HTML window.
The HTML window created by this cmdlet is a full Visual Studio tool window rather than a data pane.

PARAMETERS

-Input <PSObject>
The data to display. If an HTML string is supplied, it is rendered without modification. A collection of objects is formatted using ConvertTo-HTML.

<CommonParameters>
This cmdlet supports the common parameters: Verbose, Debug,
ErrorAction, ErrorVariable, WarningAction, WarningVariable,

PSObject. The data to format as HTML, or an HTML string to display.

EXAMPLES

EXAMPLE 1

C:\PS&gt;ls | out-html


Displays a web page containing information about the contents of the current directory.

EXAMPLE 2

C:\PS&gt;$currentStackFrame.Locals | out-html

Displays a web page containing the list of local variable and parameter values that are in the current stack frame.
This example is only effective when the debugger is running and stopped at a breakpoint.
This example uses the $currentStackFrame automatic variable. This variable always returns the topmost stack frame in the debugged process.

EXAMPLE 3

C:\PS&gt;ls | convertto-html -property Name,Length | out-html


Displays a web page containing the list of local file names and lengths.
